YORKSHIRE !!?? YORKSHIRE!!??

I'll have you know that I'm from the RED rose county !!

I only work in Yorkshire so as to take money from the tight fisted sheep worrying county !

Unfortunately I've got wedding preparations to be a part of this weekend, and probably each weekend until June

Can just imagine asking 'Mrs. Landing to be' if she'd mind organising our wedding without me as I'm busy playing CS 'down in the smoke'

Thanks anyway though

Oops, just realised that our kind STi locked server sponsor lives in Yorkshire .

Therefore I'd like to revise my earlier statement from 'tight fisted sheep worrying' to 'Kind and generous animal loving'

Please dont ban me mike !

Norm

"Down in the smoke" - This is Milton Keynes we're talking about. Hardly either London or Industrial Heartland of the Nation. My Geography of the more remote and unimportant parts of the UK is sketchy - does Lancashire means its closer or further away than Yorkshire ?

Wedding preparations ? - Its what women love doing - let her get on with it. I swear the only reason my dear wife wanted to get married last year was an excuse for some shopping. Seem to remember by main contribuition at this point (i.e. a 5/6 months before) was "keeping out of the way". A damn fine job of it I did to.

Anyway whats Bazza's excuse ? Or is he helping you with your wedding preparations aswell

Deano

(Says he living in Suffolk - a more remote or unimportant part of the UK its harder to imagine

Is it OK if I ask my brother if he wants to join us?? Not sure he is free yet, but wanted to check. He will need a NIC though...

Also, not sure if anyone is interested in this game, but I will bring along Fighting Steel as well. It's a WWII RTS game based on naval battles. Probably a bit "anorak" for you lot, but I quite like it. Only 4 player max though.

Can everyone who's going list their car/colour here, just so we know who's who.

Just asked him and he doesn't fancy it. Oh well, there goes my plan for being the "easy target"

Looked at my car this morning and I was disgusted by the muck on it. Will attempt to wash it on Saturday. Has anyone got an industrial strength jet washer...?

Cool

First time I've actually read this thread as I thought it was happening over Xmas when I was in Ireland

However, I failed add in SNDT to the calculations (Scoobynet Delay Time ) & see that it is now happening this w/end & it might be poss to come along Subject to wife & health that is

So, what exactly is the timings & spec? I need to calculate the Mean Time Away From Wife & Child At A Weekend & work out whether I'll be able to swing it or what penalties need be paid or money spent.

PC wise, I'm sure the one I currently have will be OK. Presume we need k/board, mice & monitors too? NIC I have but a 10Mbit only - is that OK? Can u/grade if necessary. Also what protocol? Currently IP only, do we need ipx or other?

So many questions that are probably answered somewhere in the 160+ posts of this thread (most of which say "corner" ).

Would either come over in PTMW! or poss the Mini (as the battery in PTMW! is undoubtedly flat & PTMW! is filthy ) or poss cadge a lift off Deano (or v/versa).

Fingers crossed
