Headphones not Speakers please

Anyone into Web/Graphic design? Would Like to to do a web page for the server (few instructions / maps / stats etc.). but my HMTL skills expired when using notepad stopped being trendy .
Anyone design a quick fancy Counter-Strike/STi/Scoobynet style banner or page ? If the basics are there I can add the few bits of content.

Matt - soz for the delay, forgot all about our discussion if need be I could pop around with another nic/cable/hub for you to try out. I have an office in Northampton so Im normally around your way during the week.

Back to the LAN Game
Neal, tables and chairs are a slight problem at present. I have 6 spare chairs so if anymore could bring along their own would be apprecicated. Tables space is the biggest problem though. Currently I estimate that I could fit 3 maybe 4 on my dinning room table and 2 others on my PC desk. That leaves us slightly short
So, does anyone have a Slap able table we could use?

rr

I can bring my own chair but dont really have any spares.. I do have a table but I can imagine pinchin our dining table for the day wouldn't be v popular + it would never go in the scoob.

Cheers Roady, I've managed to sort it so I'm all set for the Lan game now

I don't think I'll be able to help out with the table situation though

I can bring a chair but it won't be my usual CS playing chair so I may not be as handy with the colt.... woohoo I have found an excuse if I need it!

I can bring a pasting table, but these things are not very strong, so it will need some additional support/legs in the middle. I'll see if I can sort anything out.

I'll bring my own chair as well.

Therefore can I have a response from everyone who is coming. I need to know exactly how many are going to be trashing my house.

Looks like desk space are going to be a problem

Me. I can bring a small picnic table style thing - not sure if it will take the abuse and angry slamming of keyboard and mouse that usually accompanies my dying- but I'll give it a go.

Puff has indicated an interest in another thread.

Im there

I don't have any tables that are easily transportable. You could always use the bath tub, a couple of planks of wood will sort it.

So far we have 5 people for the "What is Work" team.

Tonight, after work hopefully the "workers" will respond for the opposition

H - I'll clean out the scum in the bath for u

Looks like most people can bring chairs so we'll probably end up sitting on one chair, and having the monitor on another

I can get my hands on 3 17" monitors for those people who have 19" ones

Muddy

So far I've noticed that Puff and MikeB want to come aswell - U are more than welcome to join, just relpy here and let me know.

If I've made a mistake in not listing you, let me know. I'll sort it out

Before I forget, any chance we can share cars somehow. Unless my neighbours are big scooby fans I don't think they would be to impressed with 10 cars outside

So far HHxx is giving Merlin a lift
Neal and Muddy are being thoughtful by coming in a Smart Car

Unfortunately with 10 poss poeple coming I declare the LAN sess is now fully booked

TBH, I don't think I'll be able to make it. Wife(sort of)+ kid doesn't go well with, "sorry luv, I'll be away most of the weekend talking to those funny ppl I spend most evenings talking to".

Wots the date again? If she goes out for the day (which happens), then I might just call in for a larf.

I'll be coming from Northampton if anyone requires a lift.
There might not be much space if I'm bringing my comp, 2 monitors (spare 17") & a chair

ALso, what time are we meeting?

Exclamation

I thought we were meeting at 10am at a pub in MK then finshing at 10am the next morning .

If you going to do it, then do it right .

It will take an hour or two to set everything up and ensure everyone has the correct software. That means kick off at Lunch time if we all meet at 10am.
