Dave, that interior didn't need 're-conolising', oh, and out of interest, Connoly bros went out of business several years ago, so i don't know quite what they'll be using on your seats!!!
Very nice motor... enjoy!!

Very nice indeed!
I had a poke around one on a trackday and the bloke said it was very practical as well. I was amazed at the size of the boot.
Just curious... if you've dreamed of owning a 360 since you were a kid, and they came out in 99 ish, that would make you less than about 20...?

Very very nice. To buy a car like that you have always dreamed of owning, what a dream to have come true. I'm a very jealous boy, and I'm not usually a jealous kinda person. Good luck with it, can't wait to see the pictures. I really hope one day I can afford a dream motor.

Having driven a 340 and an Enzo (on a track) with the F1 style gearboxes i found the paddle shift bloody good and easy to use. the change was smooth and quick, quick enough for me anyway. also nice having the semi auto option as it will do the downchanges if you forget or are just not in the mood!
I have driven a 340 manual and to be honest i hated the gearchange, the car waswas virtually brand new but if felt notchy and not condusive to quick changes. Still do love the ally 'gate' though!
Nice care Dave

I agree with Paul - I've driven an F430 with paddle shift and it is absolutely amazing. The automatic blip when changing down through the gears is just fabulous. You can see why most Ferrari's are now supplied with this option. It makes driving a real pleasure - which is ultimately the aim of cars like this.

Dave, I bought a 2003 Modena about 7 months ago, loving every minute of it. It's in the garage at the moment getting a rear challenge grill fitted and a Tubi exhaust. Fantastic car to drive, just a shame the servcing is so f**king expensive!!!! Enjoy mate....
p.s if anyone is interested I have a picture of it with all the back taken off having the exhaust fitted, pretty cool to see it like that. Can post pics on here but if someone pm's me their email will send them.

Well I am in Gibraltar and use the dealer in Spain. I saw the invoice for the 30,000km service done just before I bought the car 6,500 euros! Also the F1 clutches burn like a beaaaatch, if you reverse up hills or use the car in auto mode you might only get 5,000km out of the clutch, new one is about 3,000 euros. If you use it "normally" maybe 15-20k km.
To answer the question on the rear challenge grill, it's the black rear grill and has tiny holes in it, it helps keep the engine compartment cool, and also a lot of people think they look better than the body colour rear grill.
Dave, check out ferrrarichat.com and clubscuderia.co.uk some great info on there.

Agreed about the paddle shift. I was very fortunate a few years back to try out my mates 360. For the first couple of minutes you have to 'think' about shifting up/down, but very quickly it becomes second nature.
Just waiting to try out his new 430
Wishing the OP all the very best and ENJOY

Plenty of people slate the paddle shift but I wonder how many have actually driven a Ferrari with it fitted.
I found the paddle shift system was really good, espically on the down shift. I've heard its better again on the F430 but I haven't driven one of those yet

Having spent some time with both a 355 Spider and a 360 Spider, I can say they are FANFCUKINGTASTIC cars. There again for the money you would expect something special.
What I will say is in some ways the 355 is better then the 360, I preferred the noise of the 355, the 360 is a bit too raspy. Also the looks of the 355 are better than the 360 from some angles.
Overall a fantastic experience and something I wont forget. Roll on the 430.
