right...its a wrx wagon...not an sti...wrong lights, spoilers, engine codes etc etc..so what you have is a jap imported 94 wrx wagon........its not a bad thing that it isnt an sti !! being an sti isnt the be all and end all !!! you still have a nice wagon buddy ! and if you like the graphics then fine....as long as you are happy...but take the sti stuff off it ! (its like putting a skyline gtr badge on a gts !!)..cheers rab.......

The engine code for scooby eccosse's car comes from a 1994 WRX* and the applied model number is also for a standard WRX. The confusion (with regards to a book) may arise from the 1994 STIs being built from standard production models, which kept their WRX AMNs. The V2 STI Saloon had a unique AMN but the V2 STI 'Wagon had a WRX AMN and didnt get a 5ED STI-type AMN until the V3 in September 1996 (MY97).
*the car could be a 1994 Type-SA, although that was actually the cheapest model in the range and its an unlikely candidate for TK

SA Is the cheapest model without even rear spoilers from new. Like a 1.6. Although obviously whoever brought them in would stick a set on.............Either way its NOT an STI 1 wagon.............. As only 300 made..
Run of 100 then run of 200...
All number plated drivers side strut........

It's white. It's an MY97. It's got an MY99/00 bumper and grille fitted, P1 front lip spoiler. And the registration ends in HAY, what more do you need to know.
Oh and the way you have your privacy set on FB, doesn't allow people to just add you.

Is there a code on the engine to tell if it's a sti? As my codes match upto a wrx sti, but as we all no you can put an array of different engines in there! So is there a way of telling by looking at the engine
