Well mine is a GC8 also and its a Jap import sti.

mickywrx 18 January 2007 07:27 PM

They're badges off a new age car.

Graphics are awful IMHO, each to their own though.

Classic wagons are GF8 remember.

Mac7611 18 January 2007 07:49 PM

Some ones pulling your leg. Those badges are definately New Age ones. Classic Impreza's had vinal stickers.

post up the code in the passenger wing....wagon sti's are very rare... the code should read like this gf8c4ed if its an sti.... i wouldnt hold too much hope of it being an sti though !!!!!! engine bay pics will help but not definitive !!

hull sti 18 January 2007 09:14 PM

even a red inlet would not confirm an sti engine as the version 1 stis dont have a red top engine.i doont think they were added untill a latter model then the version 1s

Agree on both counts. Jesus, how crap do the STI stickers on each wing-mirror look? It looks like it's wearing cheap earrings from Elizabeth Duke or summat. :lol1:

rabskyline 18 January 2007 09:55 PM

sti wagons had different top rear spoiler too and i seriously doubt its an sti but i have been wrong before but i dont think i am this time...pics and full plate code will tell all !!!
