Mate, Really gutted for you....
I know how you are feeling, its daft in a way cos' its only a cat, but you get so attached, i was in pieces for days when we lost our first cat Taz, same sorry end for him, hit by a car...fortunatly we didnt have the agonising wait and hoping he would come home. We found him right outside our house, picking him up and then burying him was the hardest thing i have ever done.
My missus was unconsolable for a good week or two....its a nightmare.
We since have got a new kitten Molly, i dont want to let her out, i dont think i could go through all that again....

We're not getting another, if we got an older cat it would leg it from the dog, if we got a kitten, it would get used to the dog but my lad would probably end up scaring it to death or killing it

Absolutely gutted for you guys, just read the thread from the start and despite the inevitable i was genuinely hoping for a happy ending...
I have 2 cats.... both rescue cats and i absolutely adore them, good to see you have loads of pics cos i sometimes feel like a loser as i have so many random pics of my 3... one of which passed away of Cancer last year... i was heartbroken so can sympathise with how you guys must be feeling.
