The only one they have in my area is the £17.99 per month version, pointless change.
They also said it will be more than 12 months before my area has the free options available.
I called them in Dec to see when mine would be avail - they said at least 12m. I then renewed with AOL for 12months at -£8pm. Jan I get a letter from Sky 'ITS HEEEEERE'
Think AOL is being sold to Charles Kennedy or Carphone Warehouse in Feb so may be able to cancel then...???
I have just been offered this by SKY - is it essential to have a BT line too?
What downtime did you experience guys - switching from one Broadband provide to another. I suffered a month with no internet access last time which was very frustrating.
Will I have a mare setting up my Netgear modem router with it do you reckon? I always get there but dont have days to spend on getting the right data, addresses and passwords from SKY customer support [on an 0870 number no doubt!]

Zero downtime... seemless unless I missed the gap
The router is pre-set up, basically plug in and off you go.
Sweet, ive heard theres a lot of downsides to the router, i currently use a belkin router which has been trouble free, but il try the netgear when it arrives!
