Don't have any as i've lost the cable to connect the digi cam to the lappy. The ding is hardly noticable, till the sun hits right on it. Been like that for way more than a year now and it doesn't justify painting the thing and that's what i do for a living.

Slightly reconsidering the sale at the moment, as i still don't wanna let it go too cheap and the mortgage money will be coming through soon.

All depends on how much is offered tbh.

If I were to go for it, I would have to bridge the funds until/if the wifes Vectra GSI sells. So only now got to the stage I am giving it some serious thought as I can't honestly think what else I would fancy. Other than perhaps a JDM STI8 with tek3. But I prefer the looks and proportions of the classic shape.

Can't really talk offers yet as to be fair I am not quite in a positon to do anything about it yet. But I certainly keep coming back to the idea of it.

But also looking at it from your end. If you don't need to sell I wouldn't. I have tried most things now, and the Scoob is just a great allrounder and you must know these things inside out by now.

Your too indescisive.......I thought Rob was king of the Indescisions....

Now what was he saying to me in the Pub the other week....RX7...bloody brilliant car...best car he's ever had....can't see changing it for a long time........

Hat's off to Rob though, he does always pop round with his current edition and let me have a drive.
I would never of driven so many makes, models, saloons, coupes, convertibles, standard or modified 4-wheel contraptions in the rest of my 'hopefully' 40 years of driving if it hadn't been for my mate Rob... I salute U and your ever understanding wife.

lol m8, Variety is the spice of life and all that

Youv'e not experienced the RX7 though, and it should be gone tomorrow AM all going well. Its one car that you should really have experienced. Power, perception of power and feel good factor is immense. But IMO its a total toy and should only be used as such and not a daily driver. Its rock hard suspension, RWD, bags of power and 2 seats don't lend itself to a daily driver as well as a toy.

The Wife gave up on me a long time ago with repsect to cars. She's happy with a hack that she can use and abuse for the school runs, hence got her a cheap Scenic again in place of the GSI. RX7 gone and I was going to take on the GSI. But if the GSI sold I could get a EVO7,8, STI8 JDM, M5, DRB's from pulling together all the funds. Thats the theory anyhow.! On the other hand I could just keep the GSI which hasn't worn thin yet and still enjoying it and think again in the spring/summer.

Anyways back on topic.! BTTT for the ulitmate UK Classic. Someone buy the damn thing, which will help in my thought process and stop the temptation.!

Been in a mates RX a while ago. So strange the power delivery of it, but it did go rather well.....even on standards turbos.

It's been decided as of yesterday to keep the car just now and see how things turn out, for maybe trying to sell again as of the summer.

Something was said to me the other day which i didn't pick up on, and has now been spoken to me about. It's a fairly simple thing but has came from someone else and it's pissed me off severly. It's a bad day when people let these cars take over their life and try to do the same to other people.

Just to add, it's not came from this forum. Something which i'm very happy to say.

If I had the funds then I would have bought this car, as has probably been said many times before!

Glad you are keeping it though as it is gorgeous!!

Don't listen to anyone else.

Don't blame you mate, bung a 6 speeder in it to keep yourself interested in it then sell it in the summer to me

I have pretty much decided unless someone comes forward for the GSI ,that I will keep that till spring/summer. Then start the hunt all over again. So you never know, I still might get it yet

Booohooo! But thank **** for that - At least I can put it out my mind. I was literally just looking at how much a transporter would cost me to get the car from you to me..........

I am sure who ever is going for it, will seriously enjoy it.

YOU WE WILL REALLY REGRET SELLING IT THOUGH!
