On the news today that the PS3 isn't completely backwards compatible as Sony previously stated.
Sony have now admitted they knew about it.
Not sure what the 200 or so games are but I would imagine they made sure things like GT4 worked.

GT4, Tekken 5, Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, Devil May Cry and Silent Hill 2 are some of the bigger games to experience problems
