As soons as I connected with Newnet last night my torrents went from 10kb/s to 360kb/s
I called their tech support as well to get their DNS addresses and had a chat with the techy about their service etc and he said they only have 7000 residential users and also apologised because it took him 10 mins to answer the helpline as he was locking up another office, I told him 10 minutes compared to Plusnet wasn't really comparable and not a problem lol. I also told him if they are all of a sudden experiencing a large amount of requests for new adsl accounts it will be a lot to do with the mass migration from Plusnet.

yep 3700 currently but hoping that may increase during the retraining period. So currently have an ip profile of 3000 as the profile is always 500kbps (roughly) lower than the sync speed, rounded down to the nearest 500 increment.
BT also have my exchange listed as being massively congested/issues with it and have it marked down as to be fixed/upgraded by the end of November although the dates keep changing forward. I have seen sync speeds of 6000+ but it never holds for more than about 4 hours before dropping back down and i'm wondering if thats BT restricting speeds at the exchange due to overcrowding issues. At 6000 the throughput speed doesn't change as it needs to hold that for more than 3 days for the ip profile to update/increase.

From: Midlands - between notts and derby !
change over from adsl max to bethere
smooth change over and like the kit
gone from a 5/6mb error prone download to a safe 7mb with a peek of 10-11mb on quiet times plus a 1.2mb upload (seeing only .7 at the mo)
And so tweakable
so far 10 out of 10.
Dave.

Well they were supposed to have been in my exchange May this year, then it got put back until August next year and then brought forward to May next year. Looks like they are having issues with getting a firm date from BT as to when they can put their equipment in.
