Looks SUPERB!!!!
Can wait to order mine... need to get headlights and spots so 2 kits need to save up for! Wont bother with full beams as I hardly ever use them.
Guys,
How does the kit work with the electrical adjuster for the headlights in a GC8 MY00 UK car? Thinking seriously of getting the H4 Bi-xenon kit but concerned about losing the height adjust etc.

Quality of the hardware is good, but beware of the lamp base!
The crappy spring clips on my £30,000 Legacy are held in place by the cheapest, flimsiest plastic ever!
When you try to put the lamp in place and reclip you may find that the clips don't fit around the base, meaning that you apply a little too much pressure and both my clip fixings snapped!
DO NOT FORCE THE SPRING CLIPS WHEN PUTTING THE NEW LAMP IN PLACE!!!
I've had to double bubble both my lamps in place as the spring clip fixings have both snapped, the Impreza may be different, but that's what the new Legacy's are like.
Now I need to hope that I can buy the plastic assembly behind the lamp on their own, if not I'll need two new headlamps! ****ing Jap cheapo crap!
Open the spring clips up a bit wider before trying to lock the lamp in place would be my advice, and don't force them!
My only other gripe is with the relay harness, but that might just be the way I interpreted the instructions.
Basically you can fit the kit in two ways,
1 - Fit the relay loom, this loom will then provide power and fuses that would prevent your original loom from frying should a ballast or lamp go short.
It takes longer this way, but it's worth it for peace of mind.
2 - Chuck the relay loom, plug the orignal lamp connector into the ballast, then the ballast to the new lamp. If something goes short you may have your loom melt if the original headlight fuses don't blow first.
My issue was that the relay loom does not plug straight into the lamp wiring.
The grommet has 4 wires, 2 for the lamp and 2 for the original headlamp plug to plug into, when you try and fit the relay loom it will go male to male (not male to female), so you'll have to solder and heat shrink the connections.
Because I didn't envisage needing heat shrink and I couldn't be arsed to drive to work I've wired it as option 2, directly to my original headlight loom. It works fine, but I'll finish the job properly tomorrow as it's easy enough to go from option 2 to option 1.

The relay loom will plug straight into the ballast and the ballast straight into the bulb.
If anyone has used the relay loom can you explain if this is right.

Anybody know the weight of these units?
Also where can replacement bulbs be purchased from? How much extra for an extra set of bulbs?

For the price you can't really go wrong.
If you go onto the site you can purchase separate bulbs, ballast or the lot.

Excellent. I meant to change the paypal address, but forgot. No problems if you can't, the other address is home, there's just more chance of someone being in to collect it at the other (work) address.
Thanks for your help
Thanks for your help
Received my kit today, and the results are good. I've taken the liberty and documented my installation to who ever might be interested.

Bulbs are expensive. How much longer do they last than normal bulbs? Can you use any H4 HID bulbs when the time comes to change them?

Genuine,I ordered a H7 6000k kit for my daughters Golf, which arrived this week, but the box has a sticker on saying H7 8000k.I can't see any other markings on the bulbs to say what they are,it would be nice to know what they are for sure if I had to replace one at any time.
