just got the full underneath ready for welding and to be prepped . it was hard work but worth it

2 drills with 100mm wire brushes in them , and a work horse of a nephew and me helping every now and again

What advantages does seam welding give? I've heard about it and know what it is but don't know the full benefits.

Not a thread steal nas just a minor enquiry, oh and bring it to a SMACS meet when done seen as your local

basically it makes the car stronger and better at handling , as it stops the body flexing

I wouldnt bother with a carbon prop at 500bhp - spend the money elsewhere.

i,m just trying to get the lightest unsprung weight as possible

after seeing john stevenson,s car do a 10.98 and with 500bhp 500 lbs torque and p20 psd,swagon do 11.38 with a bit more bhp and full weight , i want to get
the car in the 10,s when i can afford a 5 speeder .the 6 speeder should get it in the 11,s for now i hope

the new target is 550bhp and 500lbs torque

cheers i will post a few more parts i,ve bought next week
and the car (touch wood ) should be in the body shop for beginning of febuary , to have the inside and under bonnet painted

got all the running gear stripped , gearbox is being sent to david api for strip clean and check , and all running gear is being sand blasted and powder coated .
