i think you would need a old subaru loom for the connectors etc to start with , and that would save you time on the lighting loom (with plugs ), i would minimize a subaru loom for exactly what you want and then add what extra is needed

well i got all the sound proofing and loom fitted today which was easy
but the heater matrix and dash are a nightmare , i,m nearly there though
i need to weld some brackets to the strenthening bar to hold the dash in tight , and the dash is far wider than a classic so a bit of trimming has had to be done

i need to make 1 strengthening bar out of 2 the classic and newage

just getting some parts made so should be in for weekend

Hi, looking good.

Didnt you chip away at the sound deadening earlier in the project? Howcome you went to that trouble to put some back in?

yes i did i never had any intention of putting it back

but i,ve decided comfort and less noise is better than a slighlty lighter quicker car
plus it was always coming out anyway to spray the shell

well its beeen a long day but finally the dash is in

and it fits excellent with the newage sti avcs loom 8)
just need to take the dash out again to reweld dash strenthener bar and mount the loom properly , and make a few modifications to the windscreen heater ducks
the boss was moaning about the garage being a bit untidy with all my bits lying around so i decided to to temporarily fit the sti 8 trim and carpet , which fit straight in with no mods
