Rannoch - yes I live in the vale of scarborough. Bought my 911 from specialist cars and often drop in to have a look at the toy shop!!!He's always got some amazing stuff - got a Dino in as well at the moment - that's one ferrari I could happily own...
As for the spec C - - love to come over - thanks for the invite !!!..was at elvington for TOTB and scoobynet so that would be fantastic!..
Totally agree about the alfasud - that's another car I have genuinely seriously considered nipping over to italy to acquire!!!
RB: my brother in law has a 930. This is only my opinion but personally this is definately one car where I much prefer the na. The turbo is far faster in a straight line but just nowhere near as raggable and a different feel altogether. It's the difference between a terrier and a doberman I suppose. They weigh too much for my liking and I just don't feel comfortable with the lag and that low compression engine with all that weight hanging out the back end...Totally different character IMO - personally I like the finesse of the na ( if you can call it that!)

Yes, I ditched the 550 - right before a major service Didn't fancy a £5k bill.
Am patiently waiting for a proper, everyday, cheap to maintain, road car.

we'll be there on Sept 2nd all being well. I potentially have a famous guest driver as well! So between the two of you I am sure I can get some great driving tips
My old Scoob will be there too - the one with 550bhp and all being well that will also be running on the day
Bring your 911 I would love to have a look at it.

Rannoch,
Fantastic ...although I have a WRX300 now - hence the heartache over my deeply missed fair lady 911....
As for driving tips - well I'm sure your more likely to give me some!!....
