And unless that was a Mk1, Mk2 or MK5 Golf, if you didn't find them all dull and lifeless to drive, with strangely missmatched spring and damper rates, crap brakes, no steering feel and a nose heavy understeering handling balance you are absolutely not qualified to comment on how good or otherwise something is to drive.

Pictures look good! But Audi do make some pretty cars, the last time I thought that I ended up buying a Audi TT(225) The only problem was it was so boring to drive, and I was forced to sell it otherwise I would have died of Boredom.

Hope all Audi's are not like that!

Realistically, the S3 is going to be 1,500 kg.

it weighs 1455kg unladen. Im 5kgs off. I wonder if thats with or without the RS4 setas though

Don't like it in White. If I get one next year, it'll have to be in Black or Silver. Quite like the RS4 alloys on it though. They are a £1600 option on the TT

oh well. There's a car colour destined to hit the residuals!!

Right up there with Imola yellow (on any car!), puke orange on the Focus, and Blaze Yellow on the Peugeots.

BMW have had their fair share of wardrobe malfunctions too @D (turquoise??????)

Haven't seen anything in the S3 that would get me out of my S4 yet, but I'll reserve judgement until I drive it..........

Then stay in my S4 and mod it even more mwwwaaahhhhhaaaahhhhaa!!! 400bhp anybody?

Dan

Just had a right slagging off in the Sunday Times says it looks good but the 4 pot turbo engine has too much turbo lag. Should have used the V6 instead.

Nah makes it too big and front heavy - best to use a twin sequential turbo - although a decatted exhaust and a remap will possibly iron out some of the lag

Leather WILL be extra
Sat nav WILL be extra

£27,000 for the basic car, but add full Leather, flat stearing wheel, Bose sound system, Carbon inserts, mats, and you'll be looking at £30-32k easily.
RS4 19" alloys, add another £1600.

No doubt Black paint will be £750 extra too.

Orange should only be aloud on Lambo's IMO. Got a pic of a Orange Gallardo on one of the Calenders in the office. Looks Sooooo ******* cool

No you're not

130I M Sport is £26,540 list and you'll get a bit of discount on that.

Indeed. I got my 130iM for 21k with 5k miles on the clock, dealer offered me a brand spanking new one for £24,999. Went for the used one as I did not fancy a 3 month wait.

Pity it doesn't come with 350bhp as standard. The one thing that impresses me about the (R)S6 is the monster bhp inside an essentially boring looking car. This looks pretty run of the mill too. needs monster bhp, methinks.

Totally agree - it aint gonna worry an STi PPP or a base Evo - should be 320bhp+ at the very least

Leaves plenty of room for an (R)S3 though doesn't it.

They said they wouldn't build an RS3, but you never know.

They also have to be carefull not to make the S3 faster than the S4. Why pay more for a S4 if a S3 is faster and cheeper?
