Okay. Just E-mailed. And got this reply:

Please accept my apologies that you have not received an email to keep
you up to date with the status of your order. it is being despatched
tomorrow - the delay is due to the major server problems we experienced
on Monday.

Kind regards
Jacquelyn

Hopefully I will get mine before the weekend.

Well considering I got an e-mail yesterday which was this:

Please accept my apologies that you have not received an email to keep
you up to date with the status of your order. it is being despatched
tomorrow - the delay is due to the major server problems we experienced
on Monday.

Kind regards
Jacquelyn

I hope they honour their word?

Just sent another e-mail off to chase up what's happening.

I'm sure it will arrive eventually. I get the impression that it's a very small business and they have been overwhelmed with orders. They should have made that clear in the emails though rather than giving everyone false hope...

It's not giving them good name though. Got the feeling from reading others experiences over on gp32x.com, I should have ordered elsewhere.

Nah, nothing here either. Had a "City Link" card through the door when I got in tonight, so got all excited.... but it was just my 2 x 2GB SD cards.

So now I have fully charged 2800mAh AAs x 4 and 2 x 2GB SD cards....

....but no damn GP2X.

I'm going on holiday on the 3rd, so it'd better turn up next week otherwise it's getting cancelled. I emailed them today telling them as much and I've had no reply at all....

Good news on yours jpor - when did you order it? Full report tomorrow please...(you feel a heavy illness coming on, surely?)

The only reason I got an e-mail is because I sent a chase up mail @ 4:20pm this afternoon, with a copy of the original reply sent to me about it being despatched today.

I Originally ordered mine on Wednesday 17th May.

Already off from work amd at home. Currently suffering from whiplash. Some nice lady taking her kids to school in a vauxhall astra didn't noticed I had stopped, and decided to re-arrange my rear bumper and inflict pain on my neck. Luckily I was in my Reanult Clio Run-a-bout and not in my Scooby.

Will hopefuly let you know what it's like, when it arrives tomorrow. Hopefully before my appointment at the Physiotherapists.

Haha! Had an update email - mine will be shipped tomorrow to arrive by 1pm on Saturday.... <phew>. I also ordered mine on Wednesday 17th.

Wi-fi support is via USB (which is unpowered, hence you need a hub/box to provide power) - though doesn't seem massively easy to config or use. Certainly not a plug'n'play job.... and the benefit of having it is questionable, especially if you're tied to a 240V plug anyway!
