I am a spinter myself with a pb of 10.9 for the 100m and have always wondered how fast the top footballers were, has henry done 10.7 for real or are people guessing? I would think it would be very hard to get that time without alot of practise from starting blocks.

Yep, 10.7x. That was a proper timed thing, on running surface, spikes, blocks the works.

I'll google and try and find it.

Darren Bent is fast

Kolo Toure (ex forward and winger)

Jason Roberts

Outside the prem I have to say Wade Elliott. When he used to play for my team he twisted the left backs inside out and beat them for pace. Not sure how hes doing for Burnley these days.
