Yep, thats the one I saw, just me getting confused !

Think I will go for a 130 Golf, 10 grand-ish inc mine (3 grand Saab) and what 400 to remap, what will that get me, perhaps an 04 with 40k on ?

 

LOL if you can find one. Was looking for one for the wife last year, they had all been to the moon and back practically...Ended up with the next best thing - the Fabia

 

hard work to find a golf with low miles, had my 51 plate golf last august with 60k on it and was one of the lowest i seen, most have done starship mileage, my 130 went up to 197bhp after being mapped.

 

Does it have to be remapped first,or does the sps1 do the job?

Dave, do you mind me asking who remapped your 130? and I assume it must be a custom map for that sort of increase, not just some generic map bunged in.

it was a custom map, a local guy from Cardiff done it, a very switched on guy that knew his stuff, charged me £300 which was loads cheaper than everyone else and the car is quicker than my mates golf gt tdi 150 that jabbasport done.

 

If your after a Golf I know of a silver 02 2 door 150 PDi ,59k , 19" wheels , coilovers , remapped to 221bhp and 335lb ft torque , it was done by Jabbasport , factory xenons , winter pack , will be up for sale in about 2 weeks , will be serviced at VW (full service history ) and the MOT is due in a week which will be done , just had 6 months tax , he's looking for £9,500
