Great thing is Rabs is your opinion, even though it may be important in your own little world, doesn't matter out here does it.....as you can see from the other posts....and before you come back turning it around, or repeating yourself with some silly stat, you really are a loser........and I mean that from the bottom of my anus, where your brain's currently taking up space.....
Why come on here? because you think you actually wind people up.......the truth is, you've nothing better to do and that is a definate sign of a loser....
Back to the thread......
If the Zs pull up next to me and are smiling as if to say, "nice car mate" then thats fine........I'm talking to the ones that honestly think they are on a simliar level......
There's a big difference between 177 and 350.....even if it was handling on tracks there would be a contest....

Funny comments about them being on a similar level, from a pure drivers choice perspective they are actually on a higher level. Maybe they're looking across and thinking "look at that pr1ck in his ugly-eye Impreza, maybe I'll get the chance to hand him his *** on a plate in the 'twisties' "

Priceless! I knew he was a sad **** what with his essex connection, road racing and bugeye inferiority complex (he usually beats the guy next to him-).
As I said on some other thread cripple'og is owned- now he made it official by posting a bleeding heart confession of ownage on another part of the board.
Shame he won't be replying as he's ignoring me-hahahaha! Officially bitch slapped-next!

1.23 in a standard (120bhp) Elise is very fooking quick. 1.12.5 in the Honda'd Exige is awesome. Quickest my wing man's recorded the Caterham boys (R500,400,300) is 1.14 in R400. He went past when I did my PB as if I was stood still!

that pic of an mg isnt a zs its a zr (mg version of rover 25).
obviously the biggest factor is the driver but the evo driver had vastly more track experience than me(in cars anyway).....and yes of course big power makes a difference on track but better brakes ,suspension ,tyres will give a bigger reduction in lap time than another 100 bhp to a good driver,i followed a vx 220 turbo from camp to avon rise , and in that long flat out section he pulled 2 car lengths on me despite having a much greater power to weight ratio, and 2 car lengths is naff all ,you can take much more than that back with better brakes on their own ,never mind better suspension and tyres.
I heard most uk sti's with avergage drivers struggle to get under 1.25's,im just making the point that the zs on track in capable hands can mix it with much bigger names.
I find that 1.23 for a 120 elise staggering, if thats genuinely a totally standard car its got to be some kind of record !.

I've been round Thruxton in one of the MG ZS's 180bhp things on full slicks......Only two breaking points, just before the chicane and before the Campell Cob and Seagrave complex. I was very impressed.

funny you should say that ,there was a 182 with sport pack there at same day at combe ,a blue one with stripes over it,through corners cars were dead equal ,zs brakes were bit better (or i was using them better) and zs pulled away a bit when on the power (maybe i was on the power earlier i dunno),i was out on track with it a few times and when i had my mate in the car we were even stevens with the clio but when on my own he was 2-3 seconds a lap down and he was trying very hard as he ended up planting it in the wall front first.,my mate said he weighed nearly 100kg's so its easy to see what effect weight has on lap times!
It doesnt matter how hard you try though ,if you havent mastered the basics and the cars abilities you'll never get the lap time, maybe with different drivers the clio could have been quicker,it certainly impressed me to say it was totally as it left the factory, respect .
