Good to see you are starting to use some of the **** process Pete.

Easybleeds are crap, they often introduce more air into the system than you are taking out. Dont you have any friends to help you do the bleed process properly? ermm, stupid question.

Youre mistaken Pete; I havent ever supported your ****-obsession. We talked once about the width of the main bearing journals on a horizontally opposed four cylinder engine (theyre very narrow), but thats all. I have changed my oil in a similar way to you actually.

And I always thought you were one to disconnect the crank sensor and other such nonsense???

I have been mistaken, clearly - you are a Normal ......

Pete

ps. the size of the main bearing width makes not one bit of difference to how long it will last if serviced correctly

Shame that, most middle aged men still have some friends left.

Pre-filling the oil filter, something you said wasnt needed.

I see, well I have always pre-filled the filter - for as long as I can remember.

I know we are all living longer - but I never thought 77 years old is now considered middle aged!

It isnt, but then you never have been as old as you say you are. Some of us have been on here long enough to remember when you first apeared and how you decided to invent an old age "personality".

Not really Pete, but i remember when you started to talk complete bollox. Back then i was a moderator and it was my job, so to speak, to try and keep some semblance of sense on the BBS. That has long since gone with characters like you lying on here every day.

Just carried out the 62.5k service on my daily driver myself...

Total consumable cost?

Less than 25 quid...including: Oil Filter, Pollen Filter and 5.6 litres of 5W30 Semi Synthetic Oil all as used by the manufacturer.

Even got a stamp in the Service book...I knew that potato would come in handy

Still, I'd never try starting the car without making sure the oil pressure was up, there's a proceedure for doing that you know

Why are you still posting on here pete..?

Why don't you do EVERYONE a favour and **** off..?!! That is until you back up your ****e with some evidence (ie scan of receipt for NSPCC donation, scan of your driving licence/passport- obviously you can blank out address/real name details etc).

Your week away (ie hiding) was, for me, the best week on SN since joining. You came crawling back (MrRee) but can't help it, within a few days you're being you usual w@nker self (ie 22st hard as nails (ex doorman) gorilla working on nuclear warheads who is 77yrs old, suffers bad health (breath and is therefore unable to attend the NBO..! Oh and you've got a MAGNUM..! lol.... and an expert in automotive maintenance, yet didn't know how to top up gearbox oil or what tank size his car has).

Come on Pete, who did you pay to do your discs/pads..? We know you didn't do it yourself, you're just trying to gain some respect to back up the BS..!

Hit a Nerve, my ****!!

I never went through any 'change' at all ... I am what I am, I have always been, and I tell it as it is - if you want PC crap don't read my posts

And the brakes are FINE!!

The engine seems sweet too since the terrible Oil change I did

Next stop bleed the brakes, drain and re-fill the coolant, spark plugs maybe (if I can get to the damned things with my gorilla hands!)

Pete

Pete - why did you not remove the rear seat and dance round the car 3 times whilst the oil was draining??

I tend to read posts on here more than actually posting them myself and i have learned a lot from them regarding the scoob but recently i have been welcomed onto the forum with the following message:

Hello ukjesters it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

So here goes:

pslewis your are one total and utter fcukwit.

Hope that helps,

Regards,
Rick.

Another wind up pete??

just shot yourself in the foot, with number 11.

the oil light dosent go out immidiatly following an oil change, it takes a second or possibly 2-3 before enough pressure is built up following an oil change.

you almost made credible for once.

A- must try harder

not fullfilling the best of the best are we
