Golspie a big turn out these days? Glad to see the scoob managed to fend off the evo brigade! Well done John, especially in less than desireable conditions....

Thanks guys, was shaking (hands and knees
) for an hour afterwards.
Still as high a Kite
Time is the fastest Road Car ever up Doune I think (Saloon or Sports car)
Much Kudos to Andy.F for providing tech support all Sat night (diagnosing a failed MAFSIM ), after the car stopped working in the afternoon and for dragging his *** out of bed on a Sunday morning to program and lend me his Mafsim and for setting off driving to meet me on route, all of which saved my ***.
GW had the Predator out, had a few niggles, but went extremely well, watch that space.
Geoff was going incredibly well Graham, beat his PB by 2 secs on a 53.3s, another happy man today. (Putting it into perspective, I think he did a similar time to me at my first/second attemps there with a very similar Spec to your car currently) You better hope he doesn't decide to up the power of the car or Pete and Rob won't be all you have to worry about
I've given him the details of a 'reputable' Mapper

It is the tech advice I'm giving him John....
I don't worry about Pete and Rob anymore, just too far ahead!
I don't get the shakes anymore at the top, so i need to TRY HARDER!
Well done again.
One day I may actually get up there to to sample the King of Hills that is Doune, and learn from the younger and older experts!
Graham.

Well the cars been looking a bit Gash for a while after I killed it hitting a tree at June Doune 2006. The current shell was 'assembled' in a week so there was no time for cosmetics or any niceties. On the back burner however has been its replacement. The idea is to take as little as possible from the current car onto the new car leaving old one in one piece.
Mechanical spec I'll keep to myself for now but here's a sample of what we've been upto.
Fatboy

Cutting the bumper for I/C
