John

Do you have a picture of in the interior part of the doors? I think in this picture you must still have the metal door on the drivers side??

I would love to Graham, but so much on, son not well and back into hospital next week. Want to move house to one with a large garage and money is very tight.

Car needs a couple of tweaks, engine out and a new door but it stored in a lockup which is not in a great part of town. I have a large amount of spares stored in it, so its a bit risky to work on.

I might move it to Tadcaster and work on it for a week in my parent's double garage.

I've been offered other drives but nothing very exciting, old Renaults & Pugs

Sorry to read about that, obviously best to get the family right first then you can get the toy(s) out to play.
Good luck with it all, a lot to sort out!

Graham.

They look quite impressive to me, and assume the owner will fit door cards as usually the doors are with a simple flat edge and a hollow centre as an inner panel?

Have you weighed them John against a steel shell?

Mark, responded.

Have been sorting out some bits for a friends car today so not managed anything on mine, but did receive my new Fuel tank (and it's twin Sister) These were made to my own design by MJ Engineering (Scotland) based just north of Aberdeen.
Excellent work and could not have been any more helpfull if they tried.

The idea is to give me a tank with a long range, (current tank is 10 litres)that I can use in competition with Min. fuel with no surge and no need for a second pump/swirl pot arrangement (weight). The big tabs will be trimmed to suit as will the floor plate, which is offset to centre the tank in the spare wheel well, picking up on the 4 high points in there that normally support the spare tyre

30 litres when full and will be usable on the Sprints and hills at circa 5 litres(kg) with no surge.

Had quite a fruitfull day today, Craig was busy on the body with lots more rubbing down, and adding some Gucci bits to the bonnet (Supplied by Zen). Fabricated the brackets and fitted 22B light covers.

I was getting stuff done too, untll the Argoshield ran out !!

Cool, got the same on order, I have heard they are a pain to work with but I won't be fitting it as I don't even know what a welder looks like so I'm not too fussed

John how do you rate the gasless wire compared to the conventional wire/gas set up? Im tired of dragging a large gas cylinder round the garage all the time!!!

I think the gasless system is good, especially for small jobs, but it leaves a residue to clean off. I think the real thing is worth dragging a bottle around though.
