Hmm - I'd think probably not Vava - I expect they'll be different internally. Oh dear. Let me know if you discover otherwise - I'll hang onto them for a few days before listing them on eBay!

Check with the Police.

I once found a set of keys (including a BMW Car key) in my jacket pocket (I figured it was some sort of secret wife/husband swapping thing at the Curry house I was in).

When I handed in the keys to the Police - they asked me where I found them. When I said "In my Pocket" the guy was very .

Go to a dealer - they'll be able to get the key number from BMW UK - they can then cut, or get cut, a plain key - this will give you physical access to the car - but yes the alarm will go off and still immobilised - they can then recode several new keys & carry out other work as req.

But its gonna cost ya - I bet a full key set with immobilser reset on a subaru would be £2-300 pounds easy - dread to think on a beemer esp a M5. Possibly have to add on recovery charges too to drag it to a dealer!
