Ive just been working out my absolute sh1te financial situation, its taken some time, and the outcome is one i had been suspicios of, yep im broke

 

I mean this in the nicest way, but that made me laugh. My dad has an 02 reg 1.9dci Laguna estate that he was allowed to keep by his company as part of his redundancy package.

It's been a nightmare from the day he got it. Gearbox, turbo, clutch (x2) and intercooler (x2) have all been replaced. And it's not as if it's had a hard life or been ragged. It's been wafting up and down motorways at 80mph in 6th (about 2,500rpm!) and my dad hardly ever uses full throttle since he had to start paying for his own fuel.

It creaks, rattles and whistles from everywhere too. Worse than mine which is 3 years older. The interior has fallen to bits and now my (mechanic) brother refuses to work on it - reckons he should get rid and buy a Mondeo.

Sorry.....

Rant over....

It could just be my Dad's example was a Friday car.
