I think i will use the economy mode to be honest mate as ill be doing a fair whack of motorway miles soon i think.

Im hoping that as part of the 900 the water pump is included, all the belts and everything will be changed as well.

its an engine out job hence why the clutch is so cheap, he said it wont take him long so wont charge labour for it which is usually around 550.

Svs is that a common problem?

yeah know about the pollen. Mine was removed when I bought it, actually written on the area where it goes as well so don't know if that was a cop thing. Fit one a few months back and have no issues

Thinking about a decat for mine, get them for about £80 and the cat that is removed sell for £150+ due to the precious metals they contain. Winner winner

well this job is getting more expensive haha, ive told him to upgrade the clutch as well as the head bolts, ive also got to drop some discs and pads off for him to change as well as a new wheel nut stud as when i bought the car i got new tyres not long after on the rear and one of the bolts was cross thread. im expecting close to 1300 now haha

are you putting in a new flywheel as well? Sure they recommend it, but to be honest when mine was done, there was nothing wrong with the old one (I got a lightened one from api with an uprated excedy, didnt notice any difference to be honest)

had my injectors tested today at a place in wigan. 3 good, one shockingly bad off the scale!. Luckily they are under warranty so I took the dodgy one back, shown them the report and they exchanged it with no probs.

fuel economy should improve as well, as the faulty injector was not only leaking back far too much, it was also injecting too much as well

no mention of flywheel, as you say i dont think i need it doing, i did it last time i had my clutch changed an dont see the point, cant rememeber what i put in my wrx wagon but it was the biggest mistake i made as the judder was horrible and totally ruined the car. this one is a anti judder clutch so i have been assured i wont have the same issues, if i do then its out asap

well got round to sorting mt leaking door yesterday and its scary how poor the standad membrane is and not to mention the speaker placement

i removed the membrane and speaker and the speaker was full of water

with the door open i used a watering can to soak the door to see how water came in and its shocking the speaker gets battered with water then finds its way in also it runs down cables insides and out through the membrane at the bottom

so ive done this fix that someone posted in talkford and touch wood it seems fine but what ive also done is fixed a grip tie bag to the inner door skin above the speaker meaning its shielded from the water

svs were you after RS style rims? I know someone selling a set of 18" lives near me so not too far away from you. 2 have good tyres (1 bridgestone and 1 dunlop with 5 - 6mm of tread) others have low tread. He is looking for £250 for a set of 4.

"They are machine faced, black inside.

A few scratches around the edges of a couple, not very noticable and may polish up a bit anyway. A spoke or 2 have been caught and have some scratches but again not very noticable and may buff better.

One wheel has a dent to the inside rim from a pothole, but this hasn't affected the wheel as it still balances up fine - no wobble etc.

Come with tyres though 2 I was about to replace. The others are fine, not been on long (A Bridgestone Potenza and a Dunlop Sport I think).

They just need a few hrs cleaning and preping really and I don't have the time to do them justice. The damage isn't more than normal wear and tear really."

any pics m8 dont like the sound of the pot hole damage

also mixing tyres is a no no for me ive got crappy mohawk on these standard rims that will be sold with the wheels

to be fair my wheels are not that bad its just the tryes that concern me there budget crap

must admit i like the the black with polished rim but problem is once the lacquer chips they will corrode

this weather is doing my nut in i got all my polishing gear out

and attacked the boot first as there was a nasty lacquer scratch ive hammered it and got it out then it started raining least a foot of my boot looks nice with no swirls
