Did a quick quote on a wax hawkeye the other day an it ain't much more than I pay now for the Audi. Think I'll do as I said an just save up a few k an get one next year. I think once the scoobysi bug has bitten its damn well hard not to go back haha. 4 years next month since mine was borrowed. Wonder where it is now?

No. The only decision I've got to make is either a wagon wrx or a sti and just go for it. Seen a hawkeye for just under 9k that's been nicely modded up to 350 hp it's subtle mods so may not declare them an just get it insured and if it goes wrong then so be it. To be honest though they'd have to plug the thing in to a computer to find out about a re-map an I've never heard of that happening.
I'm convinced if I get one then it will be with me for a long time as you just can't beat a scooby

ive still not drove or been in a car that made me feel the way my old scoob did, even now when i see one i cant stop staring at it, yes the sound is also a big thing and i plan on getting a nur spec as you can use a bung, should keep the neighbours happy haha. No way would i have another audi, i cant fault the car but **** me its boring. im going to look at a sti hawkeye in black tomorrow. oh and the majority of the engine issues are the hatchback as they changed the map

Got to say I think it's goin to take a bit of getting used to having the speed and power again, my old scooby certainly never fealt anywhere near as quick as this and the hp was only 50 less, I think it may be the shorter gearing on the sti that made it feel so much faster, I never even got close to the rev limit an the thing was flyin. Can't wait to get it now, going to get my lad from school on Friday an then go straight over to get it, think he is as excited as me haha. I need to find out things now like activating the tracker and other bits an bobs, may treat myself to spending a good few hours polishing it as well haha, could do with a detail I think.

tracker is maybe only useful for the insurance, proper car thieves will have a jammer that can be bought very cheaply on ebay Maybe go for blackjax. Looks a stunning motor though, not seen 1 that nice

hello Jay, im part exing the audi, got 5k for it so im well happy, he tried to give me less until i just played it cool an said im in no rush go take a look at my car, he came back an said he couldnt fault it so agreed to my figure. i want to activate the tracker as according to subaru its free for starters and its also a bit of reassurance, ive got a garage to keep it in now and ive also got cctv all over the house so this house is much more secure than the other one.
Was hoping to get it tomorrow but the insurance wanted to charge me to change the day from friday to tomorrow the cheeky *******, i pay them over 2k for my scoob now an the van an they cant even do this for nothing. gits. cant wait to get the thing now though, really really looking forward to it and cant wait to have the power under my right foot again haha

Yes i got it yesterday, made up with it, bloody hell its quick though, got on the m56 put my foot down next minute 120 haha, will have to be careful, my lad loves it, he used to always fall asleep in my old one due to the noise, guess what? yes he was fast asleep on the way home yesterday haha, picked up the youngest and every time i put my foot down he was laughing an giggling.
Great to be back though, lost count of how many times i popped into the garage to have a nose last night, also kept opening the garage door last night an this a.m to have a nose haha, sad but i dont care i fooking love it
Got to try an give it a good clean today as the garage didnt, bit pee'd off but at least ill do it properly an the wifes out tonight so i may give it a polish in the garage an repair a bit of peeling laquer i found. other than that im made up (as you can tell)
spoke to a lad on here who lives in liverpool, he bought the blackjax off ebay and then some fella over on the wirral came over an fitted it, think this is my best option so im going to look into this, need to stop putting fuel in first and save my pennies haha

Well last night the wife was out so I cleaned my car. I then put it in the garage and I've done the 3 stage polish by meguirs on the Bonnet roof an boot. Treated the peelin laquer that looks better. Going to do the rest tonight. Need to pop to halfords for some more polishing clothes though. Justin how much would a detail cost on mine roughly?

the laquer is only little bits on the roof, if im right i think the roof may be a different material, aint nothing major so im not concerned, worst case scenario is a iget it re-laquered but cant see it.
i nearly finished my 3 stage last night but i got incredibaly ill with headaches and sweating, think it was down to the polish, still got to put the last coat on the doors wings an lower stuff.
Justin i love your detailing. may leave my car with you when i go away later in the year, how much would it cost?

congrats on the impending arrival Justin, didn't know you were due another.
What amp are you using in your tv install?
Ive got a sony 2400es in black, had it about 2 years now, they make a massive difference to sound even if you just upscale stereo. Blu ray is something else though!! could do with connecting another 2 speakers to mine so I have 7.1
Without sound geeky, is that 3m tape you are using to mask?
