Still on about what? Ive never mentioned it before

Just a good couple we know have got engaged, and it got me thinking about where i would one day pop the question

 

you all set for christmas, im going to get the last of my presents on sat morning, then im going for a haircut and a cut throat shave before i go out with the lads for the night

 

you always go on about asking her the question, just get it done and get it over with, at least you'll get your dirty way for a few weeks cos she'll be all giddy an happy

 

im off mate c ya, short an sweet i know but got to go to bed as im knackered

Got a nice 32 hour sat/sun/mon at work, but then im off till the 5th

Well im doing a day at double bubble on the 2nd, but itll be sooooo quiet id be daft not too

 

Yeah, no probs mate, im off to bed too, full of the sodding man flu, although ive pulled through the worse of it, but it was a close call at one point

Credit crunch lol Ive just bought her a new car Had to get some new cleaning gear for it though as its a weird colour

Its a Fiesta 1.4 zetec - its nice - got top money for her car - the bloke was stunned that the old faithfull Pug was in top condition

morning all

 

ive got to work till chrimbo eve then im of to the 5th

 

we have the hr guy coming in today, probably going to "officially" give us notice of our impending redundancy

 

bugger

 

got my media pc built up and running

 

got a few hundred satellite channels on it

 

bbc hd looks lovely

 

as does luxe hd (although the programming itself isnt the best)

 

got itv hd as well, but there hasnt been any programs on that yet that I have managed to check

(think there are some on saturday afternoon though )

 

funny thing is when I had the sky dish installed, the engineer was a bit dubious as to if he would get a signal from correct satellite but he did.

I had a play late last night and just tried scanning on a different satellite 9 degrees different to the sky positioning

 

this morning had a quick look and just under another 200 channels

 

quite a few are encrypted though but setanta is on there

 

ive actually got a chinese channel as well called cctv9 and I have watched footy on that previously on the internet

 

may pop to hmv as well as I believe they are selling hd dvds cheaply

 

as my media centre plays blu ray, hd dvd and normal dvd

 

recorded part of a jack dee program last night as well on bbc hd, must say the quality of the playback was very good

Only thing is the filesize was over something like 200mb per minute

maybe I should have got a bigger hard disk!!!
