just been looking on that parkers guide for road tax
2000-2005 impreza sti £300 next year, £455 from march 2010
that will be the same for focus ST aswell, all performance cars will be killed off, the only bonus,
plenty of cheap trackcars

I'm fine thanks. Bit gutted that the sti is officially up for sale but it's got to be done. At least I still have the Classic
Hopefully I'll be able to get something with similar performance to the sti in a few years.

its funny, when I worked on my classic, it was a 1992 wrx with 140k on the clock, no bolts were ever rusted over and hard to remove. Calibra, just over 10 years old all bolts are fecking seized and brake lines were corroded
thats the problem with german engineering, its $h!te now japanese on the other hand

put my new brake lines in, lovely shining copper
strut is on, track rod end is nicely tightened up and no longer moving about when it shouldnt,
rear brake discs are done
All I have to do now is a rear number plate bulb (all my cars fail with this really should check before mot) and tyres which I get tomorrow
