Aircraft grade tarmac is a bit abrasive on tyres - well they wouldn't want a multi-million pound Hawk sliding off the taxiways into the grass would they!!

Seem to remember Mr Super doing that last year in his Clio Cup. It was wet and he was on slicks though.
