clutches are an issue on a lot more cars, a lot of fords suffer, as well as VAG cars
noway a VAG car with a problem , i must be lieing

mainly due to these new ones built as part of the flywheel
ford transits suffer with it and are very expensive

basically the flywheel has a rubber part, metal is bolted to the crank then you have some rubber then metal again, the reason is to get the diesel engine to run properly at idle, the way they have them set up for emisions, they run really lumpy on tickover, hence this fookin flywheel
some people are selling solid ones to solve this which it does
down side ??, it can snap the crank

the good thing about having a 'normal' car is that i can go more or less anywhere for insurance rather than sticking to the specialists
