Hopefully, Just need to get to the bottom of this shaking the front end, only does it on accel, thinking maybe driveshafts? could it be the diff????

Just wondered about a second opinion with the metrot, but if your working, I'll just strip it down and have a look
vauxhall backfired today badly, no servo and runs like a bag of poo, thinking it may be the inlet manifold gasket

it did run before I started stripping it down albeit rather smokily whcih was down to a broken ringland.
Not got the inlet pipe or resonator, but I gave a load of suitable hoses away with the car today
you could have had them for nowt but its a bit late now, the car is up near scotland

for the servo to be not working , if it was the gasket you should be able to here it,
leaking that bad on the inlet side should be noisy, take the pipe out of the servo and see if it will suck ,
then if you can't find anything start it and spray wd40 around the manifold, the engine note will change when you find the leak
