evening? it's not evening till after 6pm. I know its already dark and dismal in salford, but here in the sunny suburbs we treasure our afternoons till the last drop of light has dissapeared over the smoky hills of manchester
06:00 - midday = morning
midday - 18:00 = afternoon (17:00 - 18:00 is "early evening")
18:00 - 21:00 = evening
21:00 - midnight = night time
midnight - 06:00 = who cares, you're all in bed!
