BEST TYRES???
I am also pretty sure I can draw a graph with annual salary and how good people say ther tyres are.
15k pa "Yeah Nangkags are awesome"
30k pa "Bought some Nang Kangs becausec mr 15k said they were good, and the're crap, going to but some goodyear F1s."
60k pa "would never entertain the idea of scrimping on such an important part of the car...Michelin are the best"

I know what you mean davy, I'm generally honest about things if I pay and they are ****e then I'll happily say I blew my money and happy in the knowledge not to do it again. I've heard a few jurno's who have been given them and have said they are a capable tyre and he would spend his money on them. Still when you get something for nothing you dont expect an awfull lot, so I'd guess a little satisfaction for nothing can go a long way.
Think I may stick to what I know as have never really had a problem with the Toyo's would just like something a little better in the wet.

Sometimes right, often wrong. Many people in all facets of life pay through the nose for products no better than the budget items. Just look at all the numpties walking around in cotton t-shirts costing over £100
Many people frown at Fulda tyres, but they are just Goodyears budget brand, utilising their older tread and compound technology. In my youth I once splashed out on some Michelins for my 1st car, and had nothing but slow punctures (leaking from the rim seal I think) and suffered very quick wear. They weren't a patch on the Pneumant (IIRC
) I replaced them with for 1/4 the price. Never had any bother with Fulda or the relatively cheap Vredesteins I now favour, yet I hated the Yokahamas I tried and the Bridgestones (except RE070) have all been below average IMHO.
