It's been off the road a while, you'll need to get used to the performance again!!
Bet it raises your eyebrows!

Cheeky barsteward!

4 weeks ago i decided i wasnt helping anyone with their car until mine was finished. So i put my car on the ramps (i hate moving a car that needs pushing on and off the ramps) in an attempt to get it finished. It worked, although its back on there again tonight!

Reason its back on? I put a brand new circlip round the plastic bush that locks the gearstick into the bush, and having driven to work today it was fine, bit noisey, but quite rapid for 7psi. Leaving work, i got to the 1st set of lights, and waited, they went green, went to select 1st and pop, out pops the gearstick!

Managed to drive home struggling to select 1st, 3rd of 5th.

Could resist having a play with an STi8 near York, coming out of a 40 in 3rd, gave the sti a head start, but realed it in quite easy once in 4th

Cant wait to have it back at 1.7bar

I would expect around 630-640 HP when you get that boost solenoid sorted judging by what we achieved on Matts 2.0 litre FWD Civic The upgrade to a 1.06 exhaust housing pushed the civic upto 671HP but it was around 3-400 rpm laggier than the .82 on the 2 litre.

Barries Evo (D-C-Y) also did around 615HP on our dyno again running a GT35/42 but that was at 1.7 bar I believe

You cant really compare a 35/42 on a civic's exhaust to the scoob though can you conrad!

Cheers Simon, but hopefully the air injectors should be sorted this weekend.

Actually, can you send it as a "Just in case"

Why not David? Power was made at a maximum of 7200RPM and Matts exhaust was 3". Civic is only 2 litres though.

Steven, all cars quoted above were on OPTIMAX only, no addatives either.

Civic is charge cooled, Evo was Intercooled.

length of headers, firing sequence would be the main two springing to mind..

Although if both are capable of getting the turbo into the efficent part of it's flow map then I guess the comparison has some merit.

David, I know, we discussed Mikee's last time Pat was up. Thats more to do with the head work than the turbo though
