Bit of a scare yesterday, my radiator decided it would be a good idea to get a hole in it. But thanks to a good mate, he repaired it and i'm raring to go on Sunday.

See you all there

Unhappy

SQUIZZ & Paul,
I won't be able to make it either as working Sat & Sun. Plus I had a bit of an expensive weekend at Donington.
Sat entry £100
Fuel (99p) Sat £ 87
Sun £ 45
Set red front Pads Sun £111
Hotel & bar bill £ 88
Spare set wheels £250
Subaru Pads Frnt & rear £188
total £869

But I did enjoy it and as you saw its best to take it easy on my first trackday. next one I'll be more prepared, Have some spares. If I'd had a my98 could have got f/b pads for £42 but for my99 could only get subaru genuine ones at £188.

tony

Ps manage to get about 7 mph on the track perhaps may give you an idea why I get 14 -18 mphon the road.

T5NYW: 7 mph? You were taking it steady!

Kev: I might just take you up on that when I get back although work is full-on at the moment, email as profile (if it's not in your address book already?)

Cool

Well if the weather tomorrow is anything like it was this morning, then it is going to be "a scorcher"! Better keep a BIG eye out for any ice though

BTW, if any of you have a PMR446 radios (public band walkie talkies - thirty quid upwards from Dixons) then bring 'em along. That way if you get lost we can talk you home!

Talking

I would love to come along (my first impreza meeting). The only problem is the immobiliser on the STI is broken so I will need to come in an Mx5. I hope I don't get spat on too much! It would be good to chat to people about scooby stuff. I think I'll try and get and impreza tee-shirt made up (for self protection)

Sieze,

you are welcome to come along, especially if you have your hood down

Make yourself known (and an MX5 should be easy to spot) and find out everything that you ever wanted to know (and will soon actually know) about Scoobies!

Harj,

where are you going to get a 12-volt feed for a CB on your tricycle?
