I doubt they are remotely worried. I was at Brent Cross shopping center and the weekend and there was a 360 on demo at Dixons, it was just sitting there untouched most of the time, the odd person having a look.

It'd being over-hyped by nerds and real enthusiasts on forums but I don't think the general population are generally that excited.

lol.. its funny you know, all you people fretting, I only decided last night I want one and should be fine for having mine at midnight

 

Certainly not fretting, just aghast at the shambles that is ordering through GAME online.

 

I know, I hate ordering stuff online, knowing that whatever youve paid for is in the post and you have to sit and wait for it....

 

Ok folks, confirmation from GAME that i'm NOT getting one They changed all the orders from preorder to ordered and when they did this the system generated those effin emails incorrectly stating that it was on it's way. So, to recap, preordered on first day they were taking orders and NOT getting one.

question though, the £280 xbox360, does it come with access to xboxlive or do you have to sign up to that seperately?

 

Get 30 days free trial of Live Gold I believe, and you should be able to transfer over and existing XBox 1 live account to the 360

 

thats a bit pants would have thought you get all the live kit you would have got a years free subscription.... otherwise your paying £70 for what? headset and a remote control?

you get silver membership for free that's why you buy all the kit.

I thought Silver was free with either kit, after all all the real content on silver is pay to get. With the premium you do get HD, remote control, wireless controller not wired and advanced AV cable for the 80 squids.

Yeah just checked, thanks My brother has rang, hes 3rd in the queue atm, nobody else there. so theres defo another 5 units in our local asda available at 12 tonight, heres hoping they just sell them at 11 for us rather than make me wait much longer...lol, reminder to self, have a pee and **** before joining the queue

Just rung Play, and they could not give any details of received, posted, number etc. some bloody help desk.

 

I rang and spoke to a fella who said that all orders prior to 18.8.05 had been processed and sent and some of the orders on 18.8 also had been.but mine which was placed on 18.8 has not!!! PLAY are a WASTE OF TIME

 

Hopefully Ill be playing on it all night tommorrow,

 

Just got home and had a message to call the Manager at my local GAME store, before close of business tonight. I must admit I started to think the inevitable, since it had already been confirmed I was getting one!

I have just got off the phone and it was basically to confirm my XBOX360 was in and waiting for me! And what games did I want to reserve for tomorrow at a discounted price.

Two packs are apparently available:

1) 4 games of my choice and the XBOX full package @ £440
2) All 10 launch games and the XBOX full package + some other stuff @ £770

I decided to take advantage of one of the offers (making the games £40 each as opposed to £50 each) and have put aside:

PGR3
Call Of Duty
Need 4 Speed - Most Wanted
Project Dark Zero

I know what I will be doing tomorrow!

Weird, the games in Newbury game are priced at £45 not £50. Ordered all mine from gameplay for about £38 each with my loyalty code

I'll be spending tomorrow playing as well

 

Game are selling PGR3 for for £45 tomorrow. Well they are to me anyway if not I will be leaving with no games.

 

Sorry.... only THREE of the launch titles are £45.... the rest are £50.

 

Tried my local Asda earlier but they aren't getting any. Nearest store receiving is about 40 miles away and as i'm ill as a bugger I cant be arsed driving there.

At least I can carry on with the 205 this weekend though, rather than gaming

 

well my ides was Asda too I called in at 1pm even then one bloke was there since 0730. called at 5pm to check on the stock they got and the lady informed me the que was 20 people long when they only had 10 consoles ..... just got to hope Amazon get their act together. What a bummer
