See I did think they were gonna say its 1 per customer but I never thought of taking a mate, good thinking. got a problem though, knowing my luck my mate will decide he wants to keep it...LOL

The real problem will be finding a mate whos as mad as I am who'll stand around in asda for hours pain really cause at our ASDAs entertainment desk theres no real way of queing.

 

My brother tried to talk me into waiting at Asda, but I told him to **** off. I know some Xbox games releases in the past had folk waiting a couple of hours, but the lads at our local said people may turn up 5-6hrs early

I wouldn't wait 6 hours in the cold for a woman, never mind a bl00dy games console ... well if the woman was Kelly Brook and she was gagging for it I could be persuaded

 

well I can queue indoors but it'll be rather boring, might take a chair and a book wonder what they'll say if Im stood at the entertainment desk for a few hours

 

I just called my local Tesco Extra to see if they knew how many they were getting in for midnight tonight. As of yet the delivery has not arrived so they don't know, they have had hundreds of calls over the last week, and there are already 3 people waiting in the store...!!!

And so the madness begins.......

 

people waiting already??? Im not that mad, 5pm I'll go in see if anyones there, no queue I'll nip home shower and changed then go back

 

Take your chair down to the front of the queue and put a "reserved" sticker on it.

Give one (or at least the allocation) to the local Hospital ward for sick children. Sell the rest on fleabay and enjoy your trip to Corfu knowing you made some kids happy for Xmas.

 

I cant say i'm too arsed whether I get one or not. May try Asda tonight at 11pm ish, but certainly not waiting more than 1 hour, especially now they've moved the magazine section away from the ents area

For the Ebay massive - Oh how I will laugh if all this hype isnt lived out and there are thousands of 360's unsold on Ebay

 

you also need to watch out for the ebay vigilantes seems alot of the rip off priced ones have 0 feedback bidders (soon becoming -1 )

 

I have to admit that if people sticking them on ebay didn't make a killing it would bring a small smile to my face

That's not what I was told. They said they had received there shipment and would be fulfilling orders today and tomorrow, your account will be updated as it's processed.

If it's not updated by tomorrow then you won't be getting one. Which would be annoying as they shipped the games yesterday.

 

s'funny, just had a look through all the completed items on ebay, every single one has been bought buy users no longer registered with ebay

 

I know but I bet an ad in the local sales and wants I bet you'd still make a tidy profit from it

 

or mugged when you answer the door, not that i trust the society we live in or anything like that

 

I tell you what..... in all my years of interest in the gaming scene, I HAVE NEVER known of such eagerness for people to buy a games console in this country. What ever people think of MS or the XBOX360, this type of hype is unreal.

I suspect Sony are spitting feathers at the moment!

lol... I got such a busy weekend, IF I manage to get my grubby mitts on one I doubt Im gonna be able to play it Which game to play will be the hardest choice if I do get time, buying 1 game and 1 game only, which you reckon is best?
