Completely off topic, but just noticed you're in Dunfermline - went to a stag do there in summer and thought it was a pretty cool place. Stayed in the biggest dive ever, The Auld Toll Tavern

Had a good night out though, ended up in the Ballroom

Play.com people check your account, my 360 has been showing "processing" all day. I've just checked & it now says it was posted on 30/11/05 . I ordered mine on 3rd Sep if thats any help.

My day off work tomorrow looks like it hasn't been wasted

well go f**k play.com i ordered mine 18 August and have still got it on backorder and was told today i wont get one till next delivery.........wait until the morning when i speak to them!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I ordered 15/9 and its stayed at preordered all day - dammit!

Update though, the posted date has now changed from 30/11/05 to 2/12/05, so it looks like i won't be getting it tomorrow. So don't believe what it says in your account until it actually arrives

at 2am? I'd had mine unpacked and was gaming at 00:30 7 hours in fooking ASDA. not all bad though, got hot chocolate on demand and they brought some chicken down for us to munch on etc got some right dodgy looks though sat in the queue. Idiots turning up at 11:50pm thinking they'd get one we took great pleasure in telling them to get lost was good cause every time someone came to the counter and asked they got told theyre all sold which was nice so the queue never got any bigger than 8 people so we had a laugh all night and was allowed to leave the queue and walk around the store

Anyhow, onto the xbox360, not 100% impressed with it, its fooking noisey as hell. did my head in after 10 minutes the noise it makes, £320 I got the premium pack, Perfect dark zero and Call of Duty 2. I also got a charging docking station for the controller, was also impressed to see batteries come with the unit sorted. The games seem OK, not brilliant, overall. back onto the PC.... its future proof though, not decided if Im going to list it on ebay yet though.....

Amazon have stiffed thier customers big time with only a small proportion of random dated orders going through (most Aug not going)

and to rub salt in I've just been delivered my games wireless adaptor and controllers

Webmaster, what makes you presume that? I never mentioned a thing about graphics etc....

just overall it didnt seem much better than a normal console playing COD2. I know its got alot more in it and we're yet to see what it can offer but at the minute its not great...

Think I may wait until the PS3 is out now tbh, then I can compare them both and decide which is the best.

 

just looked on ebay .... thousands on there now. Bet a good few just go for £280 in a couple of days time.

 

I didnt have a console before this so have nothing to compare.

I havn't really played much of the games yet, just been setting up all the home network and Xbox live. Which all worked first time and without fuss.

ALl I need to do now is go and buy an HDTV!
