PS3 should've been here now, Sony dropped a bollock.

I would like to get a 360 this Friday, but every games shop i've spoken to has said no chance. Having said that, i've still got 2 new Xbox games downstairs that I never have the time to play on, so I dont mind finishing those first and buying teh 360 from the next batch.

cant see what your point is really, i was making a valid point, the amount of people who slag bill and his windows system, and proclaim i use linux or an apple but willingly fund his coffers buying a box,

and i got to say the last effort looked like a brick, and from what ive seen thhe new one isnt that good, why do they insist on making all the graphics with a soft focus, erghh,

well well ....

just spoke to the Asda stor manager of the largest Dunfermline outlet. He tells me that the staff are not allowed to buy them unless they are off duty. so If you are working you can't que up because your working and if your not then you have to join the line with the rest of us plebs.

Maybee I have a chance but then again maybee not. I have an Amazon Pre-order but no dispatch today so I'm getting a bit peeved.

as for the PS3 the webmaster said a couple of pages back , it doesn't matter if it's 10X better and costs 10P .... in aint here NOW ( Neither is my 360 ) will post pics of my exploits at Asda ...... from the psp if I can leech a connection

 

Play.com are toying with my emotions. Each time I get the "Your Order Has Been Posted" e-mail, I get all excited only to find it's yet another X360 game and not the frigging console. Might pay the Tesco Extra near us a visit at midnight Friday am!

As an official distributor of Microsoft products we are guaranteed more stock but Microsoft have informed us, along with all other official Xbox retailers, that the console will not be freely available until next year.

Sort of figured out this bit on my own....wa*nkers.

 

Why can't play just simply say that for instance 1000 have been pre-ordered and we only got allocated 50, at least then people could try somewhere else or be prepared to wait a few more weeks.

Personally I can wait, even if I got one on Friday from Tesco I would still keep my order with Play to pass on to a mate that didn't get one, I don't think they would lose that many orders.

 

Agreed, if they're straight and say you'll get one 1st jan, ok at least i know. I'm not going to be wearing my fingers out typing how pis*ed of i am every 5mins.

Plus i've still got loads of games i haven't played or completed on the first one.
I'd only be deverstated in Pro Evo 5 came out on it .

Considering ringing my local Tesco Extra and maybe queuing there for a couple of hours to pick one up

Picking mine up on the way to work in the morning, got my old 32" Tv here ready and the secretary's instructions are to tell everyone i'm in a meeting

 

Just phoned asda to ask about chances of getting one this evening.My nearest have not been allocated any but the 2nd nearest have..... they have been allocated 10 !!! lady stated that asda only got 1000 as a company.

What sort of time should I get to asda to be in the 1st ten.Might go and queue now not!

 

change that.Just spoke to my second nearest store and she said they are only having 8.And asda only got 600 as a company.!!!!

 

I go the same mail from Play. In fact, I haven't heard of anyone who's ordered through Play actually getting a shipping date yet. I'm clutching at as many straws as I can that this is, in fact, a good sign.

 

Our ASDA are not advertising the console and theres no pre orders so its first come first servers, Im going in at 5pm... double checking they have enough and theres no queue I should get £30 off too Collegues got a note in their wage slip telling them they'll be onsale though thursday night/friday morning....

ohh and for EXSCOOBY, misses works at ASDA and theyre not allowed an xbox unless they queue up like every other idiot... trust me tried to get the misses to persuade them but its not working.

 

I hearda spokesman for MS on the news this morning saying that if people couldn't get one this weekend, they'll be more shipped ready for the following week. The plan is to do this on the run up to Xmas.

Time will tell if the "European-wide" shortage is all what the suppliers make of it. I can see some suppliers taking more pre-orders, then giving you the bad news hoping you'll just wait until they fulfill your order. That way they generate more business for themselves and gamble on the idea that most people won't ask for a refund.

 

Just spoke to a fella at play.com and he said unless your account is showing order proccessing then you have not got a 360.

 

looks like my amazon order is going through now ... all my games are dispatching soon but the console is still not yet dispatched

I'll have fun tomorrow with my controllers and game box's

Don't know whether to go to asda or not now .... could end up with two machines
