Some places I called up had red bonnets but not auto, they thought I was mad asking for an auto bonnet.
Picked it up, has a few small pressure dents, nothing to get excited about. Needs a good T-cut. Whipped it off the car in about 2 mins.
Thought I was never going to find one!

Gary, it should be working now but for some reason the brand new Pug crank sensor isnt working at all, a good waste of £54 by the previous owner, though I got it as a spare when I bought the engine so it didnt cost me owt.
Just waiting for another to come in the post, then it should work. Just the legals to sort then, MOT, tax, insurance etc. Hoping to have it running in the next fortnight as a birthday present to myself

Managed to get the auto bonnet on so it shuts now!
Took the car up to Northampton motorsport yesterday for a little RR time. 171 bhp adjusted down to 169.2 bhp for temperature. Was running a bit rough beforehand, but seems to be running very well now. Had a massive flat spot before, now just full speed ahead
Will get some pics soon.
Anyone got any uprated 205 engine mounts?

Just ordered a group n kit, hopefully a little less vibrational . Engine at the moment is like a rocking horse with a fat bloke on it.

Dont think the Grp N is any less of a vibrator
They make a world of difference though, really tighten the front end up and seem to reduce any understeer problems as well.

Mine may be Grp N then rather than GrpA, but they are all uprated rather than just the bottom one AFAIK
