** NEW PATCH v1.20 TODAY **
Looks like patch 1.20 is being installed on the servers at some point today!
And is available via certain download sites.

Server is up running BF2 (vanilla) on Karkland.
A few might be on tonight - not sure.
As for the patch, it is mandatory to play on ranked servers - MPuk have patched all the UK ones (they host - which includes the EA ones I believe) now!

New stuff in the patch includes :
- Heavy machine guns are now a lot more accurate at distance
- The sniper rifles are now actually useful & more accurate
- If you're in a plane / helo and hear a lock-on with a stinger, you are screwed, the missiles will follow you round like herpes.
- You can't jump and shoot at the same time
- You can re-load your weapon while sprinting
- The shockpaddles recharge when not in use
- Noob-tube grenades have reduced splash damage

I wonder if, as the plane/tank and heli ****** KTDR suddenly decreases, that they will join us grunts having fun capping flags the hard (fun) way
