Well i zoomed up to cambridge and back and had the foot down and got 42 mpg. Have since had a full filters and oil service as well as injector cleaner treatment so see what happens since, but pretty chuffed. Have just taken delivery of four tyres - for £133, lol you really cant fault it!

Me and my shopping trolley are bonding well!

So the intercoolers aren't in the UK afterall. Looks like you will be stung with customs charges and VAT.

Has anyone contacted the eBay guy as there is no mention of this on his site, so you could claim the duty charges back through him. Just a thought.

Did you discuss the relationship of VAT & Customs.
I have just got my Hybrid from HK with zero charges plus a few other bits !

Looks like the seller is going to swallow the charges. Due today. We shall see. Still a bargain if it comes IMHO.

Good to here i have been watching this thread with intrest.

Is there any chance you could weigh the intercooler so that it can be compared to others such as the Hybrid intercooler.

So did it come to £225 all in.

Just looked on eBay looks like the seller has put the price up ? i think its gone to £285 inc postage.

Although i have just noticed there is a cheaper postage option of £10 making the total £250 for 28day postage

Are you fitting it yourself ? if so you'll have to let us know how it goes.

Got mine lads. VERY pleased and the welds and general kit looks great. For £215... pretty good value & I'm glad I took the risk.

Just got my headers & induction kit got some work to do.... headers were pretty good value too....

mine did not arrive

i did get this email......

Item: Subaru Impreza FMIC Intercooler Kit - WRX WRC GC8 (7987635276)
This message was sent after the listing closed.
torque_is_cheap is the seller.

Hi Sorry about delay replying today my computer decided that today would be a good day to crash! I'm really sorry you haven't had an email if you have messaged us. I'll just explain the situation and hopefully this will put you at ease rest assured we have not run off with your money. We are a business and there are 2 partners myself I do all the ordering of the intercoolers and kits and I deal with payments and dispatch and my partner who is supposed to deal with all communication and provide great service!!! Unfortunately as we have found out the last couple of days people haven't be receiving replys on all of their emails, something which makes me very unhappy and which I am looking into but have told my partner that I will now be dealing with all ongoing communication. Your item is not stuck in customs we did have one shipment that took 2 weeks to get out of customs due to courier mistake. Your item is on order and was shipped via sea however our supplier did hold back on letting this shipment go so he could combine the order and to counteract this we have ordered additional items which are being flown over unfortunately he didn't make us aware of the situation until yesterday and we are just sorting through all the people that are affected you being one of them. We should be receiving items next week as long as he has dispatched them as he has assured us he has. We will keep you updated on the situation and send you tracking numbers we dispatch same day as we receive the items. I can only apologise this is as much a nightmare for us as it is you but we understand that you are worried about your money and assure you that we are genuine. If you are at all concerned then do not hesitate to message me every day if it helps and I promise I will reply if you get any reply's that don't say Jo then re mail just to check I get your message. All the best Jo

If you can hold out Sticky worth the wait mate. I will not have any hesitation in ordering from them again. Assuming the fitment goes well blown away at the price, on the rollers next month so hope to see some benefit.

My response from seller as mine still hasn't arrived - Friday 19/08/05 was day 28 ...

"Hi As soon as it arrives with us we will dispatch and send you a tracking number our supplier hasn't sent us one this time round so I can't give you that which I normally would. There are no customs charges etc we cover all of them so you won't get any surprise invoices coming through to you. I will keep you updated on your order if you have any worries contact me and I'll get back to you asap. All the Best Jo"

At least it gave me a chance to re-spray inlet manifold and fit phenolic spacers this W/E......

The tracking number they gave me showed the customs charges etc. They swallowed the costs and stuck to the £215. Hope you get it soon.
