Any one fitted theirs yet?

Got a bumper template ?

At this price.... maybe worth a punt especially seeing what the Hybrid FMICs can do!

Yep I agree, I paid £225 and waited 4 weeks. The kit looks well made & blow away at the price.

Getting mine fitted along with the headers next week.

receaved this email today

Hi
Yes we have had news from our shipping company it has been located and it isn't docking until the 11th September. I ordered a load on my fast delivery not sure if I told you about this previously unfortunately my supplier hasn't been able to send all the scooby kits I asked to be flown over as we had bought all there stock(which is on the shipment) and they are having to reproduce which they have told us 20 days before they can distribute as the kits need testing etc. If you want a refund because of the delay then let me know but it will be around the 12th of September you would receive.Best Wishes Jo

sorry to hear you all got fleeced.

fwiw- I have an HKS FMIC going cheap (ish)
http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=449939&page=2
This is more than capabe up to around 550bhp as seen on AdamM's 22b project.
The core is decent, the hard pipes have some minor friction damage from the bonnet (tight fit) but you could get em powder coated for not much, or even chromed like MAFFA's mrs car
I also have an SSQV BOV that is fitted to it currently.

Will take £600 for the FMIC and BOV together. All clamps and samco hosing included.
It looks like this:

TBH fair price with the BOV but would be interesting to compare the cores of the HKS & the .. ebay one.

Why do you say that?

The HKS kit goes straight in, no cutting the inner wings, or the front panel, the pipes all go where they should and you can actually fit an induction kit sensibly. The intercooler itself all fits up nicely, and the brackets go exactly where they are supposed to. The HKS kit isn't a "universal" kit that you have to bodge into place.

Plus it has the added bonus of not having to throw away £220.

Vulnax these ones are being sold by a bloke going under the name xs power I have been in touch with him and you get all the pipework with it admitedly I would have to get another dump valve because the pipework wouln't support an sti8 dump valve.

Smile Dodgy FMIC'S on flea bay £225

Hi Guys,

I love this thread! Nice to see my emails on a forum! I feel famous. Is it a case of leaving bad feedback if the kit is ****e or because of the delay?(Micky?)

We don't disclose our supplier because we have lost suppliers because of this previously but rest assured the kits are top quality they are the same as Autobahn (although our intercooler is polished) kits although they are not Autobahn!

The shipment delay is a pain in the **** as means I have to send about ninety thousand emails every day updating everyone and obviously it gets on those who bought ones nerves. Rest assured I am no sheep shearer!

We couldn't get on the BHT site either Paypal sent that tracking number they requested one and it was all we had! We weren't going to as it was no use to anyone plus they sent it to some people it wasn't relevant to.

We cover all customs charges and yes temporarily we ship items as and when they are purchased hence the pickle we're in at the mo with the shipment delay (short of flying across the world can't force my supplier to put it on a ship when I want him to!) This will be remedied once I have a bigger storage space at the mo they arrive fill my underwear shop ( FMIC's look very odd with bra's and knicks! ) then I have to dispatch in record time so customers can get through the door! When we have more room we will just offer 24 hour delivery!

Anyway for those of you waiting on your items they will be with you asap (they are worth the wait) and cheers for being so understanding and not hurling abuse at me. (I'm a sensitive girlie!) Hope this reassures you thats the aim. I dispatched a couple of items we got flown over for early orders today x2 scooby kits so you might be able to get pics from them (We did order more but we'd already bought all the ones they had made so they have to make more! ) Probably you guys ordering them all as they had millions!!!!!!!!

Enough waffling from me, hope you like them when they arrive (roll on the 11th)

Jo

We earn no interest as we pay proforma! I'll give you a refund no probs we said in listing we would endeavour to get to you within 28 days or refund unless you wanted to wait. Paypal will refund in 10 days automatically anyway so I don't need to! : )

Not pissing anyone about have been 100% honest and to be honest I have better things to do than sit around emailing loads of people or worrying that I haven't sent this, that and the other because their stuck on a ship in the middle of wherever they are! I'd much prefer that I received the item on time and dispatched on time and had lots of happy little suped up cars with my coolers on them. Lots of nice feedback and no mails in my message box. I get home from work to more work the only reason I do this is because I do give a damn about people like you!(Lots of peeps on ebay don't.)

Anyway the reason that I encourage people and you to wait for the item is because the kits are amazing quality and although they are not Hybrid or Autobahn which I saw you chatting about earlier in the thread they are as good as them just a bargain!

All the Best Jo

P.S: Don't mean to go off on one just get a bit passionate about the whole thing as I to am waiting for this damn delivery to turn up (slow boat from China! Understatement!)

I agree with you but thats retail today everyone including the big companies such as Curry's,Comet etc are guilty of it.

I have a lingerie boutique and the amount of stuff you have to reduce come the sales because it the wrong size, colour, style etc being able to sell the item then order it can make the difference between a small business surviving or going under especially with places like tesco's swallowing up all us independents!
