to be honest you dont need to worry about tryes the different groups dont make any difference to the qualifiers for the actual shootout as that is fastest 32 from both categories as i understand it although in theory you will have a better change of winning class prizes in the road legal tyres one.
All as i understand it i maybe wrong but really woodnt woory yerselves it should all be good fun.......

Two classes:

F1: non-road tyres
F2: road legal tyres

8 go through from F1 class and 32 from F2. AFAIK

Having some problems with mine after a run in with a F360. Think it may be MAF related. Have posted in tech forum. Will hopefully get it resolved.

Just got back from the drag strip. Awesome day. A skyline did a 9.3@15?mph

Then there were jet cars doing 6s@250mph The noise from those things has to be experienced.

I managed to beat prevous times with a 12.21secs@111.7mph. Think it should qualify comfortably for the JSFC tomorrow, according to the organisers.

Unfortunatley just missed out on the hot hour due to not getting on early enough. 13.4/13.6secs was enough to qualify for the top 32 today.

Great event with no long queues. Surface is the same as Santa Pod.

Looking forward to tomorrow

Cheers mate.

I've got kevs number and he has mine. DBM V reg PNO. Will try and get them to write BOB'5 on the side.

We've met once before (about 4 years ago at an Airfield day up north).

Will be good to catch up and see your machine.
