You can buy one of these clutches (friction and pressure plate) for £145 off Paul of PB Clutches 'beth.thornton@tiscali.co.uk' , excellent guy to deal with. Purchased one myself from him via Ebay several months ago, still going great!

IF it is the same clutch as the performance organic l'll take every one he can get, as our buying price in Japan comes to over £200 with freight and duty.

I doubt we are talking about the same product at all here. Ours also comes with the release bearing. So I suspect that you are just referring to a cheapo factor type clutch - Good luck !!

Exedy do make a whole range to suit all purposes.

Though the questions ofcourse if what if something goes wrong with your clutch...how helpfull will Paul @ PB Clutch going to be...?

PS: thought id posted this earlier...
ps: i did look at buying this from Ebay...but was not getting much responce from the guy...

They are not the organic ones from pb clutches !!!!!

They are standard exedy stuff under umbrella company dk wings who manufactures car parts for Japanese cars!!

I ordered one. They are standard covers not uprated, and standard disc not organic!!!!

I obtained this info from exedy themselves and Tim at SVS! I now have the organic one and can see there are VERY obvious differences!

Paul and Beth at PB are also very helpful and im sure if you did have problems with anything you purchased from them they would be do their very best to make amends.

Hi,
You're a poet and you didn't know it .. even i can rhyme - just!!! LOL

Anyway ..
Put me down for a clutch please;
Exedy Performance Clutch 3 part set £250.00

Got a question about the flywheel ...
Is this the cost of the lightened flywheel - £120.00??
And once that new flywheel is put in the car i then send the original off and then i get £50 in exchange? Is this right??? (so the flywheel has cost me just £70 - can't be right??? Can it)

cheers
James

The cost is £120+ VAT + £50 surcharge, the £50 is refunded when they receive your old flywheel back.

Nah mate, we leave it all scruffy and scratchy so that you wear the clutch out faster and come back for another one.

PS : Yes, we take great care to make sure that it is flat and balanced as possible within the limits of the gear we have here to do it.

No complaints so far from anyone, over finish or balance. Except, poor ol SamUK who started this thing, who's says he has a bit of a judder. We're working with him to see how it develops over a few miles. It's covered by warranty of course but we need to be sure that the fault is recognisable so that we can cure it. Too few miles and the wear marks aren't obvious enough to make a conclusion.

He's probably got a juddery left leg from trying to carry an overweight wallet around LOL

The point about the flywheel being, that most of them have surface damage and heat cracks on the face. Once the car is in bits and you discover that the flywheel is less than perfect, you cannot do anything about it if you haven't got one to go on. Thus the car is out of action until one arrives from me or anywhere else.

There is no point putting a new clutch on a ruined flywheel - obviously.

lol...

I did not complain....

Clutch judder is there though only noticable if i am stuck in traffic..does not seem to be getting any worse....so untill it does i guess all is ok...

Though i am impresed at how well it is working, and can actaully feel the lightened flywheel doing its job....
