Oh for a nice Hot Holiday! I love the summer

 

I was in Slovakia just before christmas and was told by my mates dad (a Slovak citizen) that they have a law there saying that everyone has to use winter tyres during the winter. If you get caught without them then it's a big fine! Most people there dont earn megabucks like we do in the UK but they still manage to buy them, though the threat of a fine probably helps. It's a bit colder there than it is here, but still worthwhile in this country IMO.

They work great too, for the first couple of days I was nearly $hitting myself being driven round in a Skoda estate at 'normal' summer speeds.

It takes a while for your brain to stop screaming "we should be spinning off the road into that icy ravine right now" at every slush-ridden corner!

Project Scoob will have a set for next winter, on 15's.

 

use a set of worn "forest" tyres on 15" personally............with the 4-5inches this morning they are spot-on...........
