just won an old 400bhp RX7 drift car thing with the massive ripspeed chav spoiler on the back

gold front alloy and silver rear, car is coverd in stickers, its cleaning up in the FR races (and looking dam good in the replays when its sideways )

 

How did you win that? The only thing I've won so far is some old Fiat but I've only been doing the clubman cup really to get some money to mod the car

i was looking at the second hand wheels again and saw a set of black steel wheels PMSL

 

Second hand wheels where were they? You are getting on pretty well by the sound of it! I have a skyline and a Fiat and that's it I've spent a fortune on the skyline alone though

 

just won a 67 skyline its a bit old and crap

second hand wheels are in the wheels section

where you choose the manufacturer, underneath them in the bottom left corner says "second hand wheels" or simmiler

ive found newage wrx rims in gold there and sum sti8 rims as well
stock changes all the time

 

I looked at the wheel section last night but never saw that. I've just earned enough to put that stage 4 onto my skyline to make it 820 bhp now so now I can buy a sti6

 

if you cant select the stage 5 through the nismo shop try the mines or blitz shops

 

You would say that now after I've just spent 80k on a stage 4 I'll look after I've done this race. It's much better with this power

i found the blitz stage 5 for the scoob was about 10k cheaper then the stage 4

i thought it was a bug or sumthing

4bhp but better spool and boost/torque (i think from reading the stuff at the bottom of the screen)

The international licenses are a bit bloody hard.

Now running a slightly tuned Spec C. I'd post a photo but my USB key won't work.

 

Just went back into used cars from the late 90's to get that scoob and now that it's been updated there's only legacys and other jap crap in there now

it changes after every race you win, or sumthing like that

 

It did I now have a silver sti6 Only mod so far is the racing exhaust/induction. I can hear my bed calling though

If you want a quick way to get money, get your A & B licenses, get enough money for a second hand EVO of some sort (I got a VI T.M.E.), mod it a bit and go and do the mitsubishi evo event in the actual dealers. When you win, you get an old rally car worth 30k. Soup your EVO up a bit more with the winnings, then go back to the same event, select to do it again, agree to clear the status, then run it in B-Spec Directors, stick it on 5 for aggressive driving and enable overtake. Turn the speed up to 3x. Repeat for each race and keep winning the 30k car (+6k for completing all the races).

You can finish the suite of 3 races in about 5 mins this way. A bit cheaty, but gives you the cash to go modding

 

Or as I found out last night, an even easier way is to go to Special Events and do the Rally Capri, any 'semi decent' car will do. Win the 2 races (10mins) and you are awarded the Toyota RSC Rally Car, this car can then be sold for 265,000. Easy money Repeat as and when you need some cash....

 

Did the Ring in arcade mode last night - bloody good fun, but slightly worrying that I always crash on the same bend, whichever game it is (PGR2, GPL etc)

Managed 8.25 in a std Spec C and 8.59 in a std 206 180

 

Grrrrr, Amazon haven't even shipped my pre-ordered copy yet. Walked past GAME in the City yesterday with loads of copies for £29.99 too. Should've bought one and returned it! Can anyone clarify whether there is a Hi-Def mode in the UK version? I know there is in the US and Jap one.

GT n00b question, how do you fast-forward and rewind the replays? I may only want to see a small segment of the race but at the mo I'm having to sit thru the replay in realtime! zzzzzzzz

 

Hold down L3 ( analogue stick ) and you will Fast Forward. Unfortunately there is no way to rewind....
