I have heard that the new "slimline" PS2's are pants because they don't have a fan in them and keep over heating !!

No Idea how true that is though !!

I dunno about that, I ordered mine from Play about 2 weeks ago and it was shipped on monday afternoon. It arrived this morning so I had a quick spin round the Nurburgring in a Ruf Porsche before work.

Usually when I pre-order from Play the stuff either arrives on the release day or very occasionally a day early. Maybe I'm just lucky, I've ordered 50+ items form Play over the last 3 years and only 1 CD has been lost in the post.

Play sent my pre-order of GTR to me yesterday, it was released today, although I haven't recieved it
I ordered GT4 from Tesco online and they delivered as promised on the day of release even though the order status on their website yesterday said the expected delivery date was the 27th March.

I pre-ordered mine with GAME and received it yesterday. What an amazing game they've made with GT4, even better with my Logitech Force Pro steering wheel. Heh heh!

well

ive modded the new 97 to 450bhp and it handles much better then the 94 with 494bhp and all the suspension stuff on it

the 97 is stock bar a massive blitz turbo, racing air filter and zorst and a chip
the 94 sti kicked back hard when it let go, this seams a lot more slidey, although it has got the centre diff, so maybe its that ?

So how do the Scoobs handle then? I made a mistake of going with a skyline because they can make big power but the handling isn't great

My skyline is 419bhp at the moment on the standard turbo with most other mods done to the engine. I have the fully adjustable suspension, brake upgrade, racing tyres (hard at the moment) stage 2 lightened, fully adjustable gear ratios, race flywheel & fully adjustable LSD.

I've just had a play with the suspension and things are better now but I went to look at the used cars and seen all of the scoob sti's in there I was saving for a stage 4 turbo but a sti6 looks far too tempting

i've just ahd a play with the black and yellow skyline in the arcade mode on the ring. before you start you can tweek them as well. i reduced the weight as much as i could and increased the power to the max

anyway, i've just banged out a 7.05 min lap of the ring and i crashed 3 times.
