I thought console based wheels were designed to be put on your lap, different to PC wheels.

When I had my PS1, I bought Gran Turismo and a wheel on the day of release.

I had a wardrobe sized cabinet at the time, with shelves at the top and three drawers at the bottom. I removed the shelves and drawers, and then fabricated a steering wheel rest out of wood. The wheel was at an angle (adjustable), and the pedals sat in the bottom where the drawers used to be.

I then had a portable TV fixed at an angle insides the cabinet.

It was bloody superb - the wheel was screwed through the platform, and the pedals screwed into the base. I then had an armchair that just fit inside.

Need to do something similar with the PS2 now, dont like using wheels unless they are solidly fixed.

I was up 'til 2 am this morning having a play First car I bought was a '99 Skyline and have fitted some mods to it but I'm not that impressed with it Down the straight at Fuji I'm still getting eaten up by an RX7 and Focus rs I jumped straight into the pro races first but need my car setting up better.

Is it just this car or are the cars quite snappy again when you get out of shape? If the skyline twiches one way and you correct quickly I seem to get into a tank slapper Not had that happen before on GT3 or in real life for years

So far mods are:

Top suspension package
Biggest intercooler
Chip
top exhaust/filter combo
Stage 1 lightened.

Think that's it

Gonna have to do the Sunday Cup another couple of times and sell the freebie cr@p it gives you at the end each time and go looking for a 2nd hand Scooby.
Forgot that the brake upgrade was probably the first thing I did It just understeers quite a lot and then gets all wobbly and spins

Still running my R-Type RX7: Now now with Stage1 Turbo, Racing intercooler, Full race Zorst, Chip, Racing Flywheel, Carbon Shaft, Close ratio box, Sports clutch, Racing Suspension, Big daft wing and some tasty OZ wheels... Goes like stink when it hits about 6000rpm and has some lovely **** out moments.......

Kinda reminds me of Knightrider

Deffo sounds like a good idea...

I'm sure that play post pre orders 'ON' the day of release, and according to there website delivery then takes 3 - 5days...!! I stopped using play a long time ago for this very reason.
