Managed to get myself an 01 Touring car Impreza that goes like stink, after buying an 04 Spec C and doing it up.

Probably helps if you can import some credits though!

 

What wheel is everyone using? I feel some more expediture coming on...

Just had a quick hour on it at dinner - bought the RX7 as well, RWD action

First thoughts, seems pretty good but not much of a leap from GT3. Like the weight transfer under braking, and the new menu system is much better.

Need to spend a few hours on it yet though, and may invest in a wheel.

 

gah, gotta wait till tomorrow night to play this, assuming I can get hold of a copy tomorrow!

just been round the Nurburgring in my 260bhp Turbo FTO and it's an amazing track!! It must be awesome in real life - even just playing on GT4 with a steering wheel is a huge rush

Ebuyer do the wheel for 67 inc VAT!! And it is definitely the DF Pro. I'm so glad I got the wheel The rallys feel amazing.

 

Have they managed to improve a little on the sound effects this time. You tune these cars upto decent power figures with straight through exhaust and never do they pop and flash out the tailpipe. Can you still change the wheels, lower them down etc for the photo's?

transferd my credits across and bought myself a 94sti in black mica as my first car
looked through the second hand wheels and there was sum gold sti8 versions going cheap

its running 488bhp at the moment on crap tyres and suspension and its a bit hard to control

1st thing i did was turn off all the driving aids and such
the cars seam to have more "wieght" then the previous game?

 

mine came through this morning! how do you transfer credits? i got my ver II sti for 9,750 and have a blitz system lovein it

I'm with you on that, my RX7 has everything set to 0, and I spend most of the time sideways

The cars do feel heavier now, and they also drive out of corners better, you can actually point and squirt them a bit.

The AI is still lame though

 

i have found the 94 wrx to drive pretty much like my real life 97

so much so that i have managed to crash it in the game just as i did in real life
i am not keen on the screen going "fuzzy wuzzy" when you bump sumthing
but its a awsome game imo, makes me glad to have waited for it

the v3/4 sti`s all have black skirts tho and the v4 doesnt have the front lip spoiler

theres 2 my99 type r`s in my second hand lot now, but im holding out for a white my97 (there was one there earlier but i didnt have enough cash )

the graphics do look nice for the old ps2 system as well

 

Didn't realise that more 2nd hand cars pop up now and again.

Picked up a nice white Type R STi VI

 

Off out in 5 minutes to get it from my local Asda I should hopefully be playing it within the hour

Just woke up (Well at 23.59hrs actually - Good timing or what ) so on me way to my local 24hr Tesco to grab my copy!!

 

Just got back about 15 minutes ago and had loads of fun clearing my memory card just about got through the trailer now Off for a play

 

I believe as you earn more points you start to unlock new courses/cars...

In photo mode there is an option to save the photo to a USB Pen Drive, the image is then saved as a JPEG...

 

only got to wait till 7pm tonite

 

Picked mine up in Tesco just now. My memory card is at a friends house after I threw it and Grand Theft Auto out of the house, going to have to start from scratch, which is nice. Having to buy a new Memory card at £19.99, not nice.

Work upstairs, Fun downstairs... it's going to be a tough day!

The ring here we come...

 

got mine form tescos at 0845 this morning

by 0900 i'd finished my first lap of the ring in a wrx sti 6 type r (closest i could get to my sti5 on arcade mode at the time)

just started the GT mode, couldnt afford an sti5 and it wasnt silver anyway so i've got a silver sti2 for now, with NOS , keeping my eyes out for a second hand silver sti5 4 door.

Just done the ring again. Love that track - its quite realistic too, except for the fact that i would have spent and €3000 on armco repair by now.
